What is technology?

Technology has many differnent meanings to different people. Technology can be utilized in several ways that can make life easier or more complicated. Technology can bring more harm than good in ill-structured domains. When teaching, the classroom is a dynamic, highly complex environment. Adding technology into the mix can create chaos. For example, teaching at an inner city school the computers are limited as well as other resources. Having a lesson on a power point may not be the best option. However utilized at the right time it could enhance a lecture. From personal experience I have used video clips and music at times to add some interest into a particular lesson. Such as sounds from the rainforest or videos of animals.
